Field IT Technician

Summary

The Field IT Technician is a professional who will fully utilize their IT and Field experience in this role. The Field IT Technician is responsible for working with varying systems installations, establish and document networking details, finalize and document programming, provide on-site end-user support and training, perform system maintenance, and repair a wide variety of systems. They must be willing to work overtime and be ready to travel as the need arises. Field IT Technicians must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing about 30 lbs. often. At times, they may have to lift heavier equipment. Additionally, they should be able to work in small spaces and at varying heights and be required to climb ladders.

Qualifications:

  • IT: 2 years is REQUIRED
  • Cabling: 2 years REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of low voltage – electrical REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of networking – LAN/WAN REQUIRED
  • PERC card (Permanent Employee Registration card) or the ability to obtain one.

Security Sales Executive is responsible for the design and sale of Security Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems, Intercom Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems to commercial businesses. Develop new business prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of security systems and services.

Summary

We have several openings at our corporate office in Arlington Heights, due to our continued growth. Security System Technician is responsible for installing security surveillance, door access, and alarm systems. They must be willing to work overtime and be ready to travel to customer locations. Pull, route, and label CAT5 or CAT6 cable. Conduct thorough inspections of network cabling to ensure the system is working. Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication. Mount telecom equipment while adhering to best practices, industry standards, and manufacturer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous electrical experience is REQUIRED.
  • IT: 2 years (preferred).
  • Cabling experience: 2 years is REQUIRED.
  • PERC card (Permanent Employee Registration card) or the ability to obtain one.

Summary

The Lead Security Technician is the lead worker and must have at least five years of previous experience. Lead Security Technician is responsible for the Installation of Security Cameras, Burglar Alarms, & Access Control at residential and commercial locations. This will include climbing on ladders, pulling cable, installing devices, programming, bending conduit, and system testing. Electrical and low voltage experience is required.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Electrical experience is REQUIRED.
  • 5 years of IT experience is REQUIRED.
  • 5 years of Cabling experience is REQUIRED.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and always has a professional attitude.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Highly detailed oriented with excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Excellent decision making and follow-up skills.
